Hi Contrast helped Genesis evolve from an OTC trading desk to the world’s largest digital asset prime brokerage facilitating over $300 billion in annual transactions.

Opportunity

Genesis launched the first digital asset OTC trading desk in 2013. After expanding their service offerings, they approached Hi Contrast to create a visually differentiated brand identity, design a new comprehensive website, develop the site, and design sales collateral across multiple product lines, targeting hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional investors.

Execution

Hi Contrast led strategy workshops and worked closely with Genesis’ executive team. We introduced a new visual identity, brought to life through structured grids integrated across all company materials. We designed, built, and launched a new Genesis website incorporating more than 35 unique page templates across the company’s product lines and services. We created an extensible component library that was leveraged for future site enhancements and completed follow-on work designing sales collateral, digital campaign content, and physical promotional materials.

Impact

Genesis grew to become one of the largest players in the digital asset industry. The firm successfully expanded its market share over a range of institutional investor customer segments across the US, APAC and EMEA, taking multiple business lines to top 3 in global volume.
